Emma Carter leads frontend development at GuideLab, building the interfaces that lab teams and clinic partners interact with every day. She's passionate about performance, accessibility, and creating software that feels fast and responsive.

Before GuideLab, Emma worked at Figma on their collaborative editing features and at a healthcare startup building patient-facing applications. She brings deep expertise in React, real-time systems, and building applications that work across devices.

Emma is particularly proud of GuideLab's mobile experience for technicians—designed to work with gloves, in challenging lighting, and with intermittent connectivity. She believes great software should adapt to how people actually work, not force them to change their behavior.
